RULES

By registering for the inDeauville International Marathon, the participant fully acknowledges and accepts these regulations in all their provisions.

 

ARTICLE 1 - ORGANIZERS

 

The International inDeauville Marathon is a sporting event organized by the Association SPORTS ET LOISIRS EN NORMANDIE, 1901 law, SIRET No. 847 963 808 00013, domiciled at 8, chemin Montessard, 14600 Pennedepie (hereinafter, "the Organizer" or " Organization ”).

 

ARTICLE 2 - THE RACES

 

The International Marathon in Deauville offers the following events, to choose from:

 

  • Marathon (timed event) - FFA labeled event

  • Marathon in relay of 2 (timed event)

  • Marathon in relay of 4 (timed event)

  • Half Marathon (timed event) - FFA labeled event

  • 10 KM (timed event)

  • La Deauvillaise 5KM - timed or not (your decison)

  • La Deauvi'Kids (900m race reserved for children aged 10 to 15)

 

Hereinafter (the "Races")

 

The start of the Marathon (and Marathon in relay) will be given on Sunday November 14, 2021 at 9:15 am *

The start of the Half Marathon will be given on Sunday November 14, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. *

The start of the 10KM will be given on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. *

The start of the Deauvillaise 5KM will be given on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. *

The start of the Deauvi'Kids will be given on Saturday, November 13 at 3:00 p.m. *

 

Handisports starts will be given 15 'before each Event

 

The Marathon, Relay Marathon and Half Marathon Events will close at 3.30 p.m.: participants who have not crossed the finish line by 3.30 p.m. will not be classified.

The route of each of the Events can be viewed on the inDeauville International Marathon website: www.marathondeauville.fr .

 

The routes may be modified at the discretion of the Organizer until the day of the event.

The Marathon, Half-marathon, 10KM and 5km tracks are measured according to current standards and comply with federal and international road racing regulations (FFA and IAAF).

 

 

 

ARTICLE 3 - PARTICIPANTS

 

The Marathon is open to all runners, men and women, licensed or not, from the Hopes category (minimum 20 years old on the day of the Event).

The Marathon in relay of 2 is open to all runners, men and women, licensed or not, from the Juniors category (minimum 18 years old on the day of the Event)

 

The Marathon in relay of 4 is open to all runners, men and women, licensed or not, from the Cadet category (minimum 16 years old on the day of the Event)

 

The Half Marathon is open to all runners, men and women, licensed or not, from the Juniors category (minimum 18 years old on the day of the Event).

 

The 10KM (timed) is open to all runners, men and women, licensed or not, from the Cadet category (minimum 16 years old on the day of the Event)

The Deauvillaise 5KM (not timed) is open to all runners, men and women, licensed or not, from the Minime category (minimum 14 years old on the day of the Event)

 

The Deauvi'Kids is open to children from the Chickens category (10 years old on the day of the Event) up to 15 years old.

 

For minors, parental authorization is required (see attached model). Otherwise, the minor child will not be able to participate in the race and no reimbursement will be made for his registration.

 

Registrations cannot be reimbursed, even partial, except for participants who have subscribed to the “reimbursement guarantee” (see art. 9).

 

Anyone who returns their bib to a third party without the express consent of the Organizer will be disqualified and held liable in the event of an accident occurring or caused by the latter during the event, the Organization declining all liability in this case.

 

ARTICLE 4 - REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

 

4.1

 

Online registrations only until November 9, 2021 *:

 

No registration by mail, phone or email will be taken into account.

 

* In order to guarantee optimal safety conditions for participants, the Organization reserves the right to close registrations at any time before this date, and in particular in the event that the maximum quota of registered riders has been reached.

 

4.2 Registration fees *:

 

Marathon: 64 € until June 30, 2021

€ 70 from July 1, 2021

 

 

Marathon in relay of 2: 72 € per team until June 30, 2021

€ 80 per team from July 1, 2021

 

Marathon in relay of 4: 108 € per team until June 30, 2021

115 € per team from July 1, 2021

 

Half-marathon: € 30 until June 30, 2021

€ 34 from July 1, 2021

 

10KM: 16 € until June 30, 2021

€ 18 from July 1, 2021

La Deauvillaise 5KM: 14€ if not timed or 16€ if timed

 

La Deauvi'kids (900m): € 2 (fully donated to the associations we support)

People with reduced mobility who wish to register in the disabled sports category, as well as their accompanying person (within the limit of one accompanying person per disabled sports participant), receive a 50% reduction on the amounts mentioned above.

 

Options:

Refund guarantee: 5 € (see conditions in article 9 below)

Sending the bib by post: 8 €

Personalized medal: 8 €

Results by sms: 1 €

 

4.3 Mandatory documents to be registered on the Klikego site no later than November 8, 2021:

 

- Athletics, Athletics, Athletics, Athletics license issued by the French Athletics Federation, or a "Pass' J'aime cour" issued by the French Athletics Federation and completed by the doctor, valid at the date of the event

- or for non-licensees: medical certificate obligatorily mentioning the "non-contraindication to the practice of running in competition" dated less than one year on the date of the competition, or its copy. No other document can be accepted to attest to the possession of the medical certificate.

 

Crossed out or illegible certificates will not be accepted.

 

Foreign participants are required to provide a medical certificate written in French or translated, of no contraindication to the practice of running in competition even if they hold a license issued by a federation affiliated to the IAAF.

 

A medical certificate or license is not required for registration with Deauvillaise and Deauvi'Kids.

 

  • Parental authorization for minors

 

These documents must be registered on the site at the time of registration or no later than November 8, 2021.

 

Registration will be effective upon receipt of the payment and documents referred to above, subject to their validation by the Organizer.

 

The participant who has not provided the required elements will not be able to withdraw his bib or be reimbursed for his registration.

 

An identity document will be required for the collection of the bib.

 

ARTICLE 5- WITHDRAWAL OF BIBS

 

Bibs will be collected in the Race Village:

 

  • Friday, November 12, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

 

No bib can be issued without registration of the elements referred to in 4.3.

 

PLEASE NOTE: no bib withdrawal on Sunday November 14, 2021

 

ARTICLE 6 - SENDING OF BIBS AT HOME

 

Participants can subscribe to the “bib sending to home” option until October 17, 2021.

 

Bibs will be sent to participants approximately 2 weeks before the date of the event in the name and address indicated on the site at the time of registration.

 

Participants who have subscribed to this option must have completed their file before October 17, 2021 (download of the license / medical certificate / parental authorization) to receive their bib. Otherwise, they will have to collect their bib at the places and dates mentioned in article 5 above and the option will not be refunded to them.

 

ARTICLE 7 - HANDISPORT

 

The event is open to disabled runners, in accordance with the regulations of the French disabled sports federation.

Visually impaired people must be accompanied by a guide who must be identified as such (inscription "guide" or chasuble).

 

A “handisport” classification, separate from the general classification, will be established by the Organizer.

 

The Organization accepts the participation of Joëlettes with their pushers up to the limit of 5 Joëlettes for all the Events. Any team wishing to register a Joëlette is invited to join the Organizer by writing to eric@marathondeauville.fr .

 

ARTICLE 8 - LIABILITY - INSURANCE

 

The Organizer is covered in civil liability by an insurance policy guaranteeing the facts of the members of the Organization as well as those of the participants.

 

Each participant is reminded of the value of taking out individual accident insurance covering bodily injury to which their sporting practice may expose them.

 

The Organizer declines all responsibility in the event of damage (theft, breakage, loss, etc.) suffered by the personal property of the participants, even if it has custody of it. Participants will therefore not be able to take action against the Organizer for any damage caused to their property or equipment. The subscription of insurance covering these risks is the responsibility of each individual.

 

ARTICLE 9 - REFUND GUARANTEE

 

An optional reimbursement guarantee in the amount of € 5 per registration is offered to participants allowing them to cancel and reimburse their registration, under the conditions defined below.

 

The guarantee can only be activated in the event of illness, injury, family death, professional transfer. Cancellation of the Race by the Organizer is not covered by this reimbursement guarantee.

 

If this reimbursement guarantee is activated, 80% of the amount of the registration and options (excluding the amount of the reimbursement guarantee and bank transaction fees) will be reimbursed to the participant.

The “sending bibs to home” option will only be reimbursed if the request for reimbursement has reached the Organizer before the bibs are sent to home (ie no later than October 17, 2021).

 

To be admissible, reimbursement requests must be sent by email to the following address: liza@marathondeauville.fr , accompanied by a medical certificate or proof being proof, no later than November 4, 2021.

 

ARTICLE 10 - JURY / TIMEKEEPING

 

The official Race Jury is made up of a referee and 2 official timekeepers appointed by the Organizer, and whose decision-making powers are final.

 

The timing of the Marathon, Relay Marathon, Half-marathon and 10KM events is provided by the company BREIZH CHRONO. Each participant will be given an electronic chip which will be initialized on the start line. The time of each competitor will therefore be a real time, and not a time counted from the start of the Event.

 

A competitor who does not respect the route of the Event will be automatically disqualified.

 

ARTICLE 11 - PREMIUMS

ARTICLE 12 - SECURITY / GENERAL SERVICES

 

Safety: The safety of the Events is taken care of by the Organizer: the course is protected by signalers and the police.

Bicycles, wheeled and / or motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited on the course.

 

Medical service: A medical service consisting of at least one doctor and first-aid teams will be available on the arrival area. Mobile units are also provided if necessary on the course.

Rescue teams may decide to disqualify a competitor for health reasons. This decision will be final.

 

Participants are invited to fill in the back of the bib with their first and last name, emergency telephone number, and must clearly indicate any possible medical problem (allergies, special care, treatment, etc.) as well as their blood type.

 

Anti-doping control: Anti-doping control may take place unexpectedly at the Events. Each participant undertakes to respect the doping ban and the provisions put in place by the Organizer for anti-doping control.

 

Bibs: For all Events, the bib provided by the Organizer must be worn throughout the race, attached to the front of the jersey by 4 pins and fully legible and visible under penalty of disqualification.

 

Bibs are not transferable, and it is forbidden to duplicate them, to hide them in whole or in part and / or to cut them.

 

ARTICLE 13 - REFUELING

 

Refreshments are provided approximately every 5km as well as upon arrival.

 

Individual refreshments are authorized at the locations provided by the Organization, only for the “Elite” categories but under the full responsibility of the runner (routing, distribution, recovery).

 

Alcoholic drinks or any doping drink are strictly prohibited on the course as well as on the departure and arrival areas.

 

ARTICLE 14 - IMAGE RIGHTS

 

By participating, each competitor expressly authorizes the Organizer or any natural or legal person designated by him to use or have used, reproduced or have his name, image and / or voice reproduced with a view to any direct exploitation or in the form derived from the event and in any medium, worldwide, by all means known or unknown to date, and for the entire duration of protection currently granted by legislative or regulatory provisions, judicial decisions and / or arbitration proceedings of any country as well as by current or future international conventions, including for any extensions that may be made to this period.

 

ARTICLE 15 - CNIL

 

In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, registrants have the right to access and rectify their personal data and are informed that their results may be published on the Event website. If they wish to oppose the publication of their results, participants must expressly inform the Organizer at the following address: eric@marathondeauville.fr .

 

ARTICLE 16 - CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION

 

In the event of force majeure, natural disaster, prefectural decree or any other administrative decision including health restrictions related to COVID, or any other circumstance that the Organizer considers, in particular, to endanger the safety of competitors , the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the event or modify its routes, or to make any changes necessary for its smooth running. In this case, no reimbursement of registration fees, even partial, can be made, nor compensation received.
